Drifting to Victory: My Team’s Journey in the Ireland Drift Masters European Championship
On May 8-9, my team and I traveled to Ireland for the first round of the Drift Masters European Championship. The trip was long and tiring, but we were ready for action on the track. During our practice runs on Friday, we had the opportunity to chase the world’s best drift driver, James Deane, and gather data on the track and car. On Saturday, the qualification day, we discovered an issue with the front suspension of the car and fixed it before my qualification runs. Despite a strong first run and a zero on the second, I advanced to the TOP 32 and faced off against current WRC point leader Kalle Rovanpera. Although my car ran out of tires during the second run, the experience and knowledge gained from this event will be valuable as we make adjustments for the next round in Austria. Stay tuned for updates on our journey in the Ireland Drift Masters European Championship.
